There are a few reasons why expensive cars are not advertised on TV.
The first reason is that car manufacturers don’t want to cannibalize their sales from their dealerships.
If people can buy a car directly from the manufacturer then there is no need for them to go to a dealership and the dealership would lose out on potential sales.
The second reason is that car manufacturers don’t want people to think that they’re only in the business of selling expensive cars.
If people think that the only cars that the manufacturer sells are expensive ones then they may be less likely to buy one of the cheaper models.
